Teresa Peters Executive Realtors, Inc. Scholarship Winner Announced!

Inglewood, California Aug 9, 2010—Teresa Peters Executive Realtors, Inc.  has announced their 2010 Youth Entrepreneur Scholarship recipient. The Youth Entrepreneur annual scholarship was designed by President Marveina Peters to offer at risk youth in urban communities the opportunity to pursue their college dreams or educational goals.  Teresa Peters Executive Realtors, Inc. is proud to present this year’s Youth Entrepreneur Scholarship to Kaela Parker.  Kaela, a 15-year-old Compton Resident, currently attends San Pedro High School where she is a 4.0 student who tutors those who don’t catch on as fast as she does. Aspiring to help the community, she is making her dream a reality by offering tutoring to underprivileged children in her community. With ambitions of attending Spellman, and owning her own business, Kaela is well on her way toward success. This year’s recipient has chosen to use her scholarship funds to attend Tavis Smiley’s Leadership Institute.


The 2010 Leadership Institute will take place Aug. 19-23 on the campus of UCLA in Los Angeles.  The purpose of the Institute is to train youth to meet the challenges in their communities. It enables young people who aspire to lead, to learn the skills common to effective leaders.  Teresa Peters Executive Realtors, Inc. is proud to present this year’s Youth Entrepreneurial Scholarship Award to  Kaela Parker  at the Tavis Smiley Leadership Institution’s Teen Town Hall on Friday August 20, 2010 at UCLA from 7-9pm.
